Government fees and what your package covers
Two separate kinds of money are involved in every Chinese visa application. Here is the plain version, so there are no surprises later.
Your package is our concierge fee. The consular fee is the government's.
Our concierge fee — $399, $499, or $799
This is what you pay Your Chinese Visa for the preparation work and the coordination of your submission. Your package price includes passport shipping both ways within the United States.
The government consular fee — set by the authorities
This is paid to the Chinese visa authority for processing the application itself. It is not part of your package price, and we confirm the exact amount for your case in writing before any final payment.
Government consular fees are separate from our concierge fee and are confirmed with you before any final payment. Two-way shipping within the US is included in every package.

Estimate your total cost
Choose your visa type, service speed, and submitting consulate. The consular fee is added once we confirm it for your case.
We do not publish consular fee amounts, because they depend on your nationality, the category, and the number of entries granted — and the authorities change them without notice. Enter the figure we confirm for you in writing to see your full total.

What is not included in your package price
Government consular fee
The fee charged by the Chinese visa authority for processing your application. The amount depends on your nationality, the visa category, and the number of entries granted. We confirm the exact amount with you in writing before any final payment, and it is paid in addition to your package price.
Any consular expedite or service surcharge
If the visa authority charges its own rush or handling surcharge for your case, that amount is set by them and is separate from our concierge fee.
Shipping outside the United States
Two-way shipping is included for US addresses. International shipping, if we can arrange it for your case, is quoted separately before anything is collected.
Replacement documents you may need
Passport renewals, new photos taken locally, notarized consent for a minor, or documents issued by a third party carry their own costs from whoever provides them.
Reapplying after a refusal
If Chinese authorities refuse an application, the consular fee already paid is not returned by them, and a new application means a new consular fee.
Ask us before you pay anything
We would rather answer a fee question early than have you guess.
Email vip@yourchinesevisa.com or call (202) 703-3441 during Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM ET. You can also read the refund policy to see how each kind of fee is treated if plans change, or start an application — eligibility screening happens before any payment.
