Refund Policy
A clear, stage-by-stage explanation of what can and cannot be refunded.
1. Two different kinds of money
Every application involves at least two separate charges, and they behave differently:
- Our concierge preparation fee. This is what you pay us for eligibility screening, your personalized checklist, preparation guidance, detailed review, and submission coordination. Parts of it can be refunded depending on how much work has been performed.
- Government consular fees. These are paid to the visa authority. Once they are paid, we cannot recover them, so they are not refundable by us. Two-way shipping within the US is included in your concierge fee.
Government consular fees are separate from our concierge fee and are confirmed with you before any final payment. Two-way shipping within the US is included in every package.
2. Concierge fee refunds by stage
Before we begin work
You have paid the concierge fee but we have not yet sent your personalized checklist or begun reviewing documents.
Full refund of the concierge fee.
Checklist delivered, review not started
We have screened your eligibility and issued your personalized checklist, but no document review has taken place.
Partial refund of the concierge fee, less the preparation work already delivered.
Review and coordination underway
We have reviewed your documents, prepared your application, or begun coordinating submission.
The concierge fee is generally not refundable, because the work has been performed.
Application submitted
Your application and passport are with the visa authority or in courier transit.
No refund of the concierge fee, and no refund of consular fees already paid.
Where a partial refund applies, we tell you the amount and the reasoning in writing before processing it.
3. If we cannot help you
If our eligibility screening shows that we cannot assist with your case — for example your jurisdiction or category falls outside our service — we refund the concierge fee in full, even if you have already paid.
4. If the visa is refused
A refusal is not a service failure. Chinese authorities alone decide whether to issue a visa. Our concierge fee covers the preparation work, which has been performed, so it is not refunded on refusal. Consular fees paid to the authorities are also not refundable by us. We will review the outcome with you and advise on whether reapplying makes sense.
5. Changing your service speed
If you upgrade to a faster service, you pay the difference in concierge fee. If you downgrade before the faster work has begun, we refund the difference.
6. How to request a refund
Write to vip@yourchinesevisa.com with your name and the date of your request, or call (202) 703-3441 during Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM ET. We confirm receipt, tell you which stage applies, and process approved refunds to the original payment method, normally within ten business days.
