Your Chinese visa, stage by stage
Here is the whole journey from the moment you tell us about your trip to the day your passport comes back — and exactly where your money and your calendar come into it.
Six stages, no surprises
Timings below are our own service targets measured after we receive and accept your documents. They are not guarantees, and no one can guarantee that a visa will be issued.
- 01
You share your trip
Day 0
You complete the guided application with your travel purpose, dates, nationality, and U.S. residence details, and choose your service pace and shipping carrier.
- 02
Eligibility screening
Usually within one business day
A concierge confirms the right visa category and the consular jurisdiction for your address, then writes to you with a personalized document checklist.
- 03
Fees confirmed
Before anything is paid
We confirm your concierge fee and the separate government consular fee in writing. Two-way passport shipping within the U.S. is already included in your package.
- 04
Documents prepared and reviewed
Depends on how quickly documents arrive
You send your documents and passport with the prepaid label. We review everything line by line and tell you about anything that needs correcting before submission.
- 05
Consulate submission
Service target begins here
Once your documents are received and accepted, we coordinate submission with the correct visa authority. Your preferred date is a request; the office sets the actual window.
- 06
Decision and passport return
Per your chosen pace
The Chinese authorities alone decide whether a visa is issued. When your passport is released, it ships back to you at no extra cost within the U.S.
How your chosen pace affects the calendar
Each target is counted in business days from the point your documents are received and accepted, not from the day you apply.
